This is the "Guitar Wall" in the Times Square Hard Rock Cafe. This was pretty cool, the entire back wall from floor to ceiling is rows upon rows of guitars.

i heard him chirping away and snuck up as close as i could get to him. Unfortunately I was not able to get a view of him without all the branches in the way. This is from an extreme crop of the original photo.

For all you bird watchers, are they always this chubby, he looks like he has been eating well.

I have a vase filled with dried fruit on my table. The morning sun was shining through and cast a very nice light on the arrangement. I did some minor touchups in photo and then used the Color Efex Brillance & Warmth along with a black vignette.

Have a great day!

I was asked from a few of you on yesterday's Blarney Castle daily to post a picture of us kissing the stone. So I am posting a fun shot today of my daughter as she was getting back up after kissing the stone. Before arriving at the castle, I thought the rock would be just sitting somewhere and you leaned over and kissed it. Not so, you had to lie flat on your back, and a gentleman held you as you leaned half your body over the edge holding on to the rails. You had to lean waaay back to reach the stone. It was fun and an experience to remember for sure. Kissing the stone is supposed to give you "The Gift of Gab", something neither my daughter or myself really need :-).

Thank you all for the wonderful comments on my Ireland photos, it truly is a magical beautiful country.

Blarney Castle

Yesterday was a rainy lazy Sunday. It was a great day to catch up on sleep and just relax. I worked on editing my pictures from Ireland, so that is what I get to post today. This shot was taken at Blarney Castle, as you can see it was a beautiful sunny day. My daughter and I hung upside down at the top of the castle to kiss the Blarney stone. That was an unexpected experience, didn't realize you had to lie flat on your back and then bend backwards holding on to arm rails to be able to reach the stone. All is all great fun, we had some good laughs looking at everyone's photos that they take of you kissing the stone.

Have a great day everyone!

Yes another shot from Ireland, this one was taken out of the bus window as we headed towards the town of Killarney. The brown landscape and setting sun really set the tone for this. It was strange to see brown after all the lush green fields I had passed during the day.

Thank you all for the posts on yesterday's photo, greatly appreciated.

Another Irish post today, but this time out of the city! This was taken at the Rock of Cashel, the castle was behind me, when I looked over the wall I was pleasantly surprised to see the sheep there.

After being away for 10 days, I am swamped both at home and work and have had no time to get out and take pictures. Hopefully this weekend I can get back in the swing of things.

This was a street vendor in Dublin. I loved the posters and he couldn't have posed more perfectly if I had asked him.

I am still trying to get back in the swing of things after my trip. I need to get caught up on all your photos, I have missed so much. I am back filling my dailies with one shot from each day that I was away. I need to work on my workflow, I am a bit overwhelmed with the amount of photos I need to go through.

Have a great day!

While traveling on the bus to Cork, we went through some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. I took this through the bus window, for me, this is how I always pictured Ireland to look like.
